Lutefisk Supper

One of the most time honored traditions of Emmons Lutheran Church that embraces and celebrates our congregation and community’s Norwegian heritage is our annual Lutefisk Supper, which began over 50 years ago during the pastorate of Rev. L. Donald Docken.

The Lutefisk supper (which also features meatballs for those who are not too fond of Lutefisk) is traditonally held the 2nd Tuesday of November, with two lunch and two supper settings.  It brings together all members of our congregation, young and old alike, working together to serve nearly 800 guests.

****** Update****** The Ways and Means Committee has met and made the decision to cancel plans for our Lutefisk Supper for 2021. It was a difficult decision for the committee, but with the rising cases among both vaccinated and unvaccinated people, they felt this was in the best interest of everyone.
