This week’s announcements for 6/13/2021

  • As we continue following CDC guidelines, we will no longer require masks at Emmons Lutheran Church. There will be people that will continue to use masks at this time, we ask that you please show respect and love toward our fellow neighbors whatever decision that have chosen to take. As always, if you are not feeling well, please stay home until you are feeling better. Thank you for your continued support of Emmons Lutheran Church at your comfort level.
  • Church Work Day: Volunteers are needed for Saturday, June 12th, work day. We will start at 9 am. Any help would be appreciated.
  • Altar Flowers: Every week we will be decorating our altar with flowers. If you would like to sponsor these flowers, please sign up in the Narthex or contact the church office. $30 per Sunday (two bouquets of flowers) which can be taken home after worship has concluded.
  • Altar Guild: We are looking for a few more people to help with preparing our Sanctuary and Altar for worship. If you would like to volunteer your time and abilities, please contact Paula Yocom or the church office.
  • The National WNALC is offering 10 scholarships of $800 each to help cover cost of travel, hotel and $50 per diem for a trip to the WNALC Annual Gathering in Corpus Christi, TX on August 3, 2021. If you are interested in this trip, please contact Pastor Henkel.
  • We will be worshipping outdoor in the parking lot on June 13th. Please bring your own chairs and blankets.

Our sympathy is extended to Roxie Marpe upon the death of her son, Jeremy (Jim) Riles.

Emmons Lutheran Church Summer Rec begins Jun 14th and runs through July 23rd. Ages K-6th grade are invited to register for Monday – Fridays 9am – noon.
